Gogglebox Entertainment is an independent production company set up to create bold and innovative television and cross platform formats for the UK and International markets.
It was founded in April 2008 by Adam Wood and Mat Steiner.
Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) hold a minority equity stake in the company.
News
- Gerry’s Big Decision won the Best Factual Entertainment Programme at the Factual Entertainment Awards in Los Angeles on June 3rd 2010, beating stiff competition like Supernanny US and Victorian Farm.
- In production with 2 new entertainment pilots. Casting for new BBC2 factual entertainment series.
- Casting for new Channel 5 factual entertainment series.
- Our dance series ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’ was stripped across the week starting Dec 14th, climaxing with a live final on the Dec 20th. The series outperformed BBC3’s prime-time share by + 35% and ranked number one in its timeslot among multi-channels.
- Our new dance format Move Like Michael Jackson has been commissioned as a prime-time Saturday night series on SBS6 in Holland. The 9 x 90 min series starts TX early next year.
- Jermaine Jackson will be on the judging panel for our new BBC dance series ‘Move Like Michael Jackson’.
- Gogglebox has been commissioned to make a new 6 x 1 hour dance series for BBC3 – MOVE LIKE MICHAEL. The series is a co-production with Fever Media.
- The first series of TRUST ME I’M A DEALER (20 eps, BBC2, 6.30pm) is currently broadcasting on BBC2 with excellent ratings.
